“
"For the second consecutive year, it is the inaugural event of the European Championship. The high percentage of international participation, with 80% foreign drivers, is also an important factor for tourism return."
The official presentation of the rally took place at the Delegation of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía, just days before the starting ceremony in the Plaza de las Tendillas. The competition will feature 62 participants, highlighting its international character, and will unfold in two major stages across the Cordoban province over the weekend.
“
"The Sierra Morena is an event that consolidates its position as a benchmark for motorsport in Spain and Europe. It is a race that not only maintains its historical prestige but also adds to its international relevance with the European elite and the best national drivers."
The Diputación de Córdoba and the Ayuntamiento de Córdoba are fundamental pillars in the event's growth. Salvador Fuentes, president of the provincial institution, emphasized the pride of the seven municipalities through which the rally passes, while Mayor José María Bellido acknowledged the organizational effort and the economic impact of 22.5 million euros, according to a study by the University of Cordoba.
“
"It is not just any race, it is not just any competition, it is the Rally of Cordoba and this is from Cordoba for everyone."
