During an event held at the Ronda del Marrubial, the Popular Party of Córdoba announced the members of its list for the upcoming elections to the Junta de Andalucía. The event was attended by Antonio Repullo, coordinator of the PP of Andalusia's Campaign Committee and head of the list for Córdoba, and Adolfo Molina, provincial president of the party.
“"This city has regained its pride; before it was one of lost opportunities and now it is one of opportunities."
Adolfo Molina described the candidacy as “winning” and “the best in the party's history” in the province, emphasizing that the goal is for “Córdoba to win.” The list includes prominent figures such as counselors, former Parliament president Jesús Aguirre, and representatives from various regions and municipalities like Palma del Río, El Carpio, Espiel, Lucena, Puente Genil, and Montilla.
For his part, Antonio Repullo highlighted Córdoba's transformation under Juanma Moreno's mandate, noting that the choice of Marrubial for the presentation symbolizes the recovery of the ancient wall thanks to regional management. Repullo contrasted the “Andalusian way” of moderation and progress with the national political landscape, emphasizing management and projects over “noise” and “bickering.”
“"Against the noise, we offer management; against the bickering, we propose projects; and against the mess of left-wing parties and Pedro Sánchez's policies, we offer stability."
The candidate also recalled recent achievements in the province, such as the boost to the Logistics Base and the opening of the new Levante Emergency point. This event in Córdoba precedes a regional event in Granada, where the PP will present all 109 candidates from the eight Andalusian provinces, led by Juanma Moreno, ahead of the May 17 elections.
