During the closing of the Andalusian PP Intermunicipal meeting, held in Córdoba, the national party president argued that the current president of the Junta de Andalucía deserves another electoral victory. He stated that his policy is based on management, stability, and results, highlighting Andalucía's progress in various national indicators.
“"Absolute majorities are very difficult to achieve, but the Andalusian president deserves it."
The popular leader contrasted the Andalusian model, and that of other autonomous PP governments with stable majorities, with the management of the central executive. He accused the Government of acting "on the fly" in a complex international context and a "decadent" national situation.
He also criticized the Government's fiscal policy, noting that in Spain "effort is penalized" and those who "take risks are squeezed" with an "excessive collection drive." He also questioned the destination of the collected funds, referring to an increase in public debt and the reception of European funds.
“"To maintain a Government that does not govern and to the pockets of the corrupt."
Regarding Andalucía, the PP leader asked citizens not to support "Sánchez's recipes cooked by Montero" in the upcoming elections. He predicted a "new record" for the socialist candidate, leading the Andalusian PSOE "to the subsoil."
The speech also included references to the Adamuz railway accident, which occurred on May 17, in which 46 people died. The popular leader accused the Government of not showing "due respect to the victims" and of trying to "cover up and hide the evidence" of what happened. For his part, the Andalusian president demanded that "the truth be known as soon as possible" and regretted the lack of convincing explanations and assumption of political responsibilities.
