The representative of Por Andalucía in Córdoba has stated that the party approaches the upcoming elections with a firm intention to govern and to lift Andalucía out of the "ostracism" into which, in their view, the current president has plunged it. The candidate, a jurist by profession, describes herself as a "woman of the people" concerned with the daily needs of citizens.
The coalition emphasizes that, despite polls predicting a favorable outcome for the PP, they are confident that Andalusian citizens will vote freely, as has happened on previous occasions. They criticize the use of opinion polls to influence voters' decisions and deflate mobilization.
“"The PP is turning basic necessities into business for a few."
Among Por Andalucía's main priorities are healthcare, access to decent housing, infrastructure improvement, and job creation. The coalition proposes to safeguard public services, ensure affordable housing, and launch an emergency plan against depopulation in the province of Córdoba, which is one of the provinces losing the most population in Spain.
Regarding healthcare, the candidate acknowledged that privatization began under previous governments but noted that under the current PP administration, it has become "exorbitant and inhumane." The issue of infrastructure was also addressed, denouncing the neglect of public buildings and the lack of investment in educational and health centers, such as those in Villarrubia or the San José school in Montilla.
Finally, Por Andalucía has expressed its stance on the reindustrialization of the province, advocating for a model that values local raw materials and rejecting projects like biogas plants promoted by large investment funds which, in their opinion, threaten the environment and natural resources of Andalucía.
