A total of 29,862 families in the province of Córdoba currently benefit from Endesa's social electricity tariff, aid that significantly reduces their electricity bill.

The vast majority of Cordoban households receiving the social tariff to pay their electricity bill, specifically 68.9% of the 29,862 beneficiaries, access this aid due to their low income. This percentage meets the economic requirements to obtain the discount on the electricity bill.
21.6% of beneficiaries are large families, 5.2% are pensioners with minimum contributory pensions, and 4.3% are recipients of the Minimum Vital Income.
Data provided by Endesa reveals that more than half of the beneficiaries, 16,980 households (56.9% of the total), are in a severely vulnerable situation, receiving a 57.5% bonus on their bill. The remaining 12,882, considered vulnerable consumers, enjoy a 42.5% discount.
The number of families with the social tariff in Córdoba has seen sustained growth, with approximately 9,000 more households since 2022, representing an increase of about 45%.
The social tariff is a discount applied to the electricity bill for consumers under the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC). Beneficiaries also have access to protection measures under the Government's 'social shield', including the prohibition of suspending electricity supply under certain conditions.
Endesa encourages those who do not yet receive the social tariff to check if they meet the conditions to access this benefit, which can reduce the electricity bill by between 42.5% and 57.5%.
