In the first 24 hours of the pre-enrollment process for the 2026/2027 academic year, the University of Córdoba (UCO) has registered a significant influx of applications, led by the Medicine and Nursing degrees. Medicine has accumulated 952 requests, closely followed by Nursing with 879. Other highly sought-after degrees include Primary Education (483 applications), Physiotherapy (459), and Psychology (448), according to data from the Regional Ministry of University, Research and Innovation of the Junta de Andalucía.
At the regional level, a total of 16,676 students formalized their application for degrees at Andalusian public universities within the first 24 hours of the pre-enrollment period, generating 95,201 course requests. Nursing, Medicine, Psychology, and Primary Education stand out as the most in-demand careers across Andalusia.
The enrollment period, which began on June 11 coinciding with the release of the University Access Test (PAU) results in Andalusia, will remain open until June 22. Students who have passed the PAU at an Andalusian university do not need to submit additional documentation.
The University District Committee of Andalusia reminds all students of the importance of pre-registering, even if awaiting review of their PAU results, as the system allows for automatic grade updates. Applicants are urged to include all available access routes (PAU and Higher Vocational Training Cycle) in their initial application, as they cannot be added later.
The first round of place allocations is scheduled for July 3, which is also when the enrollment and reservation period will open, lasting until July 9. A second round will take place on July 16, with enrollment concluding on July 20. It is crucial for applicants to check their application status and complete the required actions for each allocation to avoid exclusion from the admission process.
Cut-off grades, which reflect the score of the last admitted student in each degree, university, and access route, are indicative and may vary annually. Applicants are bound by the order of preference indicated in their application, meaning they will be assigned a place in the highest-ranked program for which they are admitted based on their access score.
