The tremor, which occurred around 4:29 AM, was felt by few residents, according to information provided by the National Geographic Institute. Despite its magnitude, the earthquake has not caused any negative consequences in the area.
The epicenter of the seismic movement was located about five kilometers deep, very close to the Santa Cruz neighborhood. The areas where it was felt most clearly include Las Quemadas, Los Morales, Medina Azahara, Cordoba capital itself, and Los Encinares de Alcolea.
Authorities have not issued any alerts or incident reports related to this seismic event, confirming that the situation remains under control with no significant impact on the population or infrastructure.
