Six LGTBI associations that are part of the Diversity Board of the Córdoba City Council have pointed fingers at the Córdoba for Diversity Platform, labeling its actions a 'pantomime' and accusing it of using other entities and unions as 'political weapons'. According to these spokespersons, the associative movement has experienced an internal fracture in recent years due to 'partisan interests' and a 'desire for protagonism' that, in their view, distorts the fight for the rights of these groups.
In a press conference, the spokespersons for the Diversity Board stated that the 'majority of Córdoba's associative fabric is united against the parallel platform led by the association Transformando'. They emphasized that their intention is not 'personal confrontation' and denied any rupture within the movement.
Diversity does not belong to any exclusive ideology or organization.
During the appearance, they defended their 'responsibility towards the citizenry' to clarify that diversity is not tied to any particular ideology or organization.
