The city of Córdoba has been breathing very harmful air for three days due to dust haze and suspended particles. The situation is so severe that, according to the initially approved municipal action plan, the City Council would be obliged to restrict traffic to protect citizens' health.
This action plan, designed to protect residents during episodes of poor air quality, is not yet in effect and awaits final approval and official publication. However, current data already highlights the seriousness of the situation.
Córdoba has three air quality monitoring stations: at Asomadilla, Lepanto, and Al Nassir Avenue (Vial Norte). Currently, only the latter station provides hourly and specific data, which confirm the worrying pollution levels.
