The designated area, approximately 160 meters long next to the La Breña II Nature Activities Center, is equipped with 19 umbrellas, three access pontoons, and a shower for cooling off. It also features a lifeguard station with personnel ensuring visitor safety between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
The mayor of Almodóvar del Río, Ramón Hernández, highlighted the municipal technicians' work as crucial for this recognition, describing the environment as "enviable for leisure activities in the water and surrounded by nature".
The recreational area complements its offerings with free parking and a diverse gastronomic selection. Visitors can also engage in various water activities, including rentals of kayaks, pedal boats, solar boats, and inflatables.
For hygiene and safety reasons, and in accordance with Blue Flag beach regulations, pets are not permitted in the buoy-marked swimming zone, and fishing is also prohibited.
