The Provincial Council of Cordoba has positively assessed the celebration of the Intercaza fair, which concluded this Sunday after its 27th edition. The Deputy of Economic Development, Promotion, and Employment, Félix Romero, indicated that the exhibition registered "a large influx of the public" at the Exhibition, Fair, and Convention Centre.
Romero emphasized the success of returning the event to September, following feedback from the Cordoba hunting sector. "We could not have been more opportune after observing the success achieved in this new edition," he stated, noting that the fair coincided with the start of the hunting season.
The objective of making Cordoba and its province the "hunting capital of Spain" has been reinforced, according to the institution. For a few days, the territory became a "meeting point for the global hunting sector," attracting relevant professionals and exhibitors. The fair covered sub-sectors such as sport fishing, safaris, weaponry, cutlery, taxidermy, saddlery, falconry, and game farms.
The edition also included novelties such as a gastronomic corner with tastings, cooking demonstrations, and talks related to gastronomy and the 'Sabor a Córdoba' initiative, creating a synergy between the two worlds.
Finally, the Council concluded that the 68 exhibitors participating have found a reference point for hunting activities in the province and in the institution a supporter for the economic and social development of many municipalities.
