The fire, which began in the vicinity of the N-432a road, has been stabilized by the Infoca task force. The operation involved 29 firefighters, two semi-heavy helicopters, and two ground-loading aircraft, in addition to two ground-loading vehicles.
The smoke column was visible from a heavily wooded area, in a fire that adds to the wave of blazes that have affected the province of Córdoba in recent days, particularly in mountainous regions. Just this Friday, the fire in Hornachuelos was declared extinguished.
