Around 300 people were queuing this Wednesday in Córdoba early in the morning, seeking to obtain one of the available appointments for their regularization. This process, launched by the Government, has generated great anticipation and attendance since its opening.
The deadline for submitting applications began last Monday, with the implementation of an online processing system and the possibility of requesting a prior appointment for in-person attention. This extraordinary period will extend until June 30, offering a window of opportunity for thousands of people in the city.
Foreign individuals who applied for international protection in Spain before January 1 of this year, as well as those in an irregular administrative situation in the country since before that date, are eligible for this regularization.
For those who have not applied for international protection, requirements include proving employment with an employment contract or self-employment in Spain, having a family unit with minor children or adults with disabilities, or first-degree ascendants, or being in a vulnerable situation.
