The political coalition has announced it will bring a series of questions to the next municipal Plenary Session to challenge the effectiveness of the local government team. They report that the backlog in processing files, which has lasted for months, is causing many residents to lose access to social benefits, public resources, and essential services such as healthcare and education.
Hacemos Córdoba emphasizes that registration is a basic right and an essential tool for administrative integration. The group recalled that the Andalusian Ombudsman warned in June 2025 about the obligation to meet legal deadlines, urging the City Council to apply positive administrative silence if applications are not resolved within three months.
“"It is time for the government team to finally get to work. What they are doing with the registration process and the lack of response to a basic citizen right is unacceptable."
The initiative presented by the municipal group seeks to clarify whether the local government has implemented the recommendations from the regional body to streamline procedures. The coalition insists that administrative inactivity is directly affecting the daily lives of hundreds of families in the city, demanding immediate action to normalize the service.
