The initiative aims to promote an entrepreneurial culture and establish business incubators linked to vocational training cycles (basic, intermediate, or higher levels). Half of the 24 ongoing projects focus on fostering the FP culture within companies, identifying challenges and innovative solutions.
The remaining twelve projects concentrate on creating entrepreneurship incubators where students develop business ideas with support from companies, local administrations, and the educational community. In Córdoba, five centers are participating in three of these projects.
The involved Córdoba centers are IES Felipe Solís Villechenous (Cabra), IES Antonio Galán Acosta (Montoro), IES Antonio Gala (Palma del Río), IES Galileo Galilei (Córdoba), and IES Los Pedroches (Pozoblanco). The latter coordinates the project “WOOL-TECH: Wool Valorization Services,” focused on establishing technical service units for wool.
By province, Granada leads with 14 centers involved in 14 projects, followed by Jaén (11 centers, 9 projects). Almería and Seville each have 10 centers, participating in 5 and 6 projects respectively. Málaga has six centers in three projects, while Córdoba and Cádiz each have five centers in three and two projects. Huelva concludes the ranking with four centers in 3 collaborative projects.
The maximum funding granted per center is 15,000 euros, with a cap of 60,000 euros per project. These collaborative projects are funded by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports and co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund Plus program.
