The company has launched a specific contingency plan for the upcoming Córdoba Fair, which includes a team of six specialized technicians and six generator sets of various power ratings. These resources will be prepared to intervene immediately and restore supply should any specific incident occur during the festive days.
This team will operate in close coordination with local authorities, the 112 emergency service, and Endesa's Distribution Network Operation Center for Andalusia and Extremadura (CORE), which monitors the electrical grid around the clock.
As part of the plan, a preventive phase has been carried out, including the review, inspection, and adaptation of the medium-voltage electrical infrastructure that supplies the fairgrounds, as well as the low-voltage network of El Arenal, which is municipally owned.
The transformation centers and the four main medium-voltage lines feeding the fairgrounds have been inspected. Additionally, over the past month, state-of-the-art thermographic cameras have been used to assess the condition of the infrastructure and ensure its proper functioning.
