During an extraordinary plenary session held this Tuesday, the selection process took place, following the method provided by the National Institute of Statistics (INE). This procedure ensures randomness in the selection of citizens who will form the tables.
The draw, based on the electoral census of the Cordovan capital, has designated three main members and six substitutes for each electoral table. Citizens can verify their status through the City Council's Virtual Office, where, by entering their DNI, digital certificate, or Clave, they can find out if they have been selected as president, member, or substitute, as well as their polling place.
To be part of an electoral table, requirements include being between 18 and 70 years old and being able to read and write. People over 65 have the option to decline their participation. The remuneration for this work is 70 euros. For table presidents, a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree or a second-degree Vocational Training qualification is required.
A total of 32,919 Cordovans will exercise their right to vote for the first time in elections to the Parliament of Andalusia. This figure places Córdoba in the middle range of the provincial ranking within the community, where 368,853 Andalusians will debut in these regional elections, according to data from the Electoral Census Office (OCE).
