Architects registered in Córdoba are called to vote this Wednesday, June 17, to elect the members of the Governing Board of the Official College of Architects of Córdoba (COACo) for the next four years. Positions to be filled include dean, treasurer, secretary, and two vocal members. Voting will take place at the college headquarters, located at Avenida del Gran Capitán, 32, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
This electoral process, held every four years, will also determine the election of three representatives from COACo to the Assembly of the Andalusian Council of Official Colleges of Architects (CACOA) and one representative to the CACOA's Commission of Deontology and Resources. The process began in April, establishing the voter roll as of March 30 and setting June 12 as the deadline for postal vote applications.
The inauguration of the newly elected officials is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, in the Boardroom of the COACo headquarters. The college's electoral regulations stipulate four-year terms, with the possibility of one consecutive re-election.
The architects running for dean in this electoral process are Víctor Manuel Díaz Huerta, Lourdes Arroyo Rosa, and Antonio Orti Huelin.
The current dean, Juan Eusebio Benito, will step down after eight years in office. The eleven candidates are running for various positions in an open list vote.
