Córdoba Patrimonio de la Humanidad has begun building its squad for the upcoming season with the arrival of Madrid-born defender Álvaro Quevedo, known as 'Alvarito', who signs until June 2028.
After a period of uncertainty, the white-and-green entity has taken a significant step in its sporting project with the incorporation of Álvaro Quevedo, 29 years old. The player, who arrives from Málaga Ciudad Redonda FS, is linked to the Vista Alegre club until 2028, becoming the first piece of the new team.
Alvarito arrives in Córdoba after concluding a long and successful spell with the Málaga team. He was a key player for Málaga Ciudad Redonda FS, a team that narrowly missed promotion to the First Division this season, falling in the playoff final. His time in Málaga, which began in the 2018-19 season, was marked by significant moments for the club, scoring 40 goals.
“
"Joy to join this project, which represents a new challenge in my professional and personal career. From the first moment, I have perceived a lot of enthusiasm, ambition, and a desire to grow, which were decisive factors for my arrival."
“
"To contribute my work to the group and help achieve the objectives. I know I am arriving in a city where futsal is lived intensely, with fans who always respond and a venue like Vista Alegre, which transmits a lot."
During his time in Málaga, the defender also won a Copa del Rey and achieved two promotions to the First Division. Previously, he gained experience in the top flight playing for Xota Osasuna Magna and Segovia Futsal.
The arrival of Alvarito strengthens the stability of the white-and-green project, which already includes the continuity of José García Román as president, the appointment of David Fernández as coach, and the renewal of top scorer Murilo. These solid foundations prepare the team to face its eighth season in the First Division, despite the departures of Ema Santoro and Arnaldo Báez.
