The pre-season schedule for Córdoba CF is taking shape with the addition of a new friendly against Real Jaén. The match will take place on August 6th at the Estadio Caja Rural La Victoria, in the capital of the Santo Reino.
This clash is part of the forty-second edition of the Olive Trophy. The date coincides with the club's official anniversary, as the blanquiverdes will turn 72, adding a special touch to the game which kicks off at 8:00 PM.
The Córdoba team will face an opponent that achieved promotion to Primera Federación last season, a division they had not been in since the 2016-17 season.
This will be the fourth confirmed friendly for Córdoba CF in their summer preparation. The series of matches begins on July 15th against South Africa's Orlando Pirates at Marbella Football Center. Subsequently, on July 23rd, they will play against Sevilla in the fourth edition of the Puertas de Córdoba Trophy. On July 31st, the team will face Elche, another Primera Division opponent, during their training camp in Oliva (Alicante).
