The Cordoba aerodrome has reached a total of 31,261 passengers in the first seven months of the year, surpassing the 30,797 recorded throughout all of 2025. This milestone is largely attributed to the presence and performance of two key airlines: Vueling and Binter.
Vueling stands as the primary growth engine, having transported 18,073 passengers between January and July, accounting for almost 58% of the total travelers. Its busiest months were April, with 2,922 passengers, followed by May, with 2,894, coinciding with the capital's high tourist season.
Binter, for its part, has contributed 10,806 users, representing 34.6% of the passengers registered in the same period. May was its strongest month, with 1,969 travelers, followed by June (1,657) and July (1,623). These figures suggest an interest from Cordoba residents in traveling to the Canary Islands during the summer.
Binter, which initially operated the route to Gran Canaria until October 2025, has extended its flight schedule until July 2027. The remaining airport users are accounted for through aerotaxi services, pilot schools, and transplant flights.
