This incorporation will bring several benefits for residents, including the possibility of using Consortium travel cards, such as the green card, youth card, and large-family card. Furthermore, journeys will benefit from reduced and more affordable fares, and better integration with the metropolitan transport network of Granada will be achieved.
The council will also be able to participate directly in key decisions regarding timetables, frequencies, services, and bus stops.
Although the exact start date has not yet been confirmed, the new system is expected to become operational shortly after 1 October. The Town Council will provide the definitive date as soon as it is official.
