The seismic event was recorded at 08:37. According to data provided by the National Geographic Institute, the tremor was felt in the capital of Cordoba and in the municipality of Cabra, located in the Subbetica region.
The 112 Emergency service confirmed receiving over fifty calls reporting the incident. Although some landslides and cracks in structures have been reported, authorities stated that there are no records of personal injuries so far.
This event occurs just days after another 5.0 magnitude earthquake, recorded in Alhendin (Granada), which was also felt across much of the province of Cordoba. Preliminary reports suggest this new tremor had a lesser impact than the previous one.
