The Palacio de la Merced, headquarters of the Diputación de Córdoba, has become the epicenter of job searching with the celebration of the Empléate Forum. This employment event, running until Thursday, April 23, has attracted a large number of people, mainly young individuals, interested in the 600 job opportunities on offer.
More than thirty companies from various sectors, such as Campus Córdoba, Covap, Magtel, Carrefour, Deuser Indra Group, Silbon, and La Perla Food Innova, are actively participating in the forum. Additionally, the event features key employment intermediation organizations, including the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE), Andalucía Emprende, the Córdoba Chamber of Commerce, the Europe Direct office of the Diputación de Córdoba, and Fundecor.
The State Security Forces and Corps, including the Armed Forces, the National Police, and the Civil Guard, are also present, providing information on professional career paths and access requirements for their respective bodies. Many attendees have come with the hope of finding a new professional direction or re-entering the job market.
“"We believe that the protagonists, ultimately, are the unemployed people who come looking for an opportunity, but also the companies in the city and province that provide these opportunities, along with the public employment offers from the State Security Forces and Corps."
The forum offers opportunities in diverse sectors such as hospitality, gardening, logistics, commerce, as well as profiles related to training, career guidance, and administration. Admission is free, allowing interested parties to freely access both the exhibition area and the various scheduled activities. The initiative is funded by the provincial institution, through Iprodeco, and is organized in collaboration with Fundecor and the University of Córdoba.
