Since April 10th, Córdoba's Gran Capitán boulevard has been hosting the 45th Antique and Second-Hand Book Fair, an event that has become one of the city's longest-running and most significant cultural appointments. The fair will be open to the public until May 3rd, from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 21:00.
Isabel Albás, the Córdoba City Council's Culture Delegate, highlighted the participation of ten exhibitors from various regions of Spain, including cities such as Granada, Madrid, Murcia, Torrevieja, and Benidorm. This diversity enriches the offerings and attracts numerous visitors seeking unique copies and literary experiences.
“"It has been 45 years, no more and no less, that this wonderful fair has been repeated."
The fair is distinguished by its wide variety of materials, ranging from out-of-print books and economic editions to collector's comics and genuine antiques. Alejandro Gómez, a bookseller from Albacete, noted that the public comes with the expectation of "being surprised" by the possibility of finding hard-to-locate titles.
“"Here you can find everything, and there are many curiosities."
In addition to the exhibition and sale of books, the fair's program includes activities aimed at children, reinforcing its family-friendly nature and its goal of bringing reading to all ages. The event's central location facilitates access and integrates it into the daily life of Córdoba residents during the weeks it remains open.
