After half a century of history, the Cordoban company Sumisur has embarked on a new phase by joining the French group Dellen. This strategic move allows Dellen to strengthen its presence in the industrial supply sector in Spain, incorporating Sumisur into its DBNext unit. Despite the acquisition, Francisco Romero, Sumisur's founder, will retain his stake and position as CEO.
Dellen, a family investment group led by Pierre Baelen, entered Spain in December with the acquisition of Geointec. The French conglomerate holds investments in over 150 companies across 15 economic sectors. Its DBNext division, specializing in technical spare parts and industrial supplies, comprises 33 companies and 560 employees globally.
Sumisur, founded 47 years ago in Córdoba and headquartered in the Las Quemadas industrial park, closed 2025 with a turnover of 12 million euros, establishing itself as a leader in its sector. The company stated that this integration represents a natural evolution that strengthens its market position without compromising its identity or working methods.
