This comprehensive advisory work, directed to the Government Subdelegation in Córdoba, has enabled the centralization of needs from various municipalities and autonomous local entities. Updated data reveals that the total cost of damages in the province amounts to 47,313,598.07 euros.
The technical deployment carried out by the Provincial Council underscores the magnitude of the damage to the rural road network. Interventions have been planned for 942 sections or roads, which means acting on an extension of more than 2,413 kilometers of agricultural routes.
The provincial institution, in close collaboration with the town councils, has gathered the necessary information on agricultural roads eligible for repair. This work is part of the technical advisory committee established under Royal Decree 5/2026 of the central Government, which adopts urgent measures in response to damages caused by adverse meteorological phenomena, with particular impact in the autonomous communities of Andalucía and Extremadura.
The Provincial Council has confirmed that the applications are now complete and have been submitted to the Government Subdelegation. This process complies with current regulations, aiming to ensure that funds reach local entities as quickly as possible.
