The event, which attracts thousands of visitors each year, is one of the most emblematic celebrations in the Andalusian capital. The Córdoba City Council has published the definitive list of participants, confirming the presence of 53 crosses that will compete in the contest.
These installations, created by entities, brotherhoods, and associations, will be distributed across three main categories: 19 in the historic center, 22 in modern areas, and 12 in enclosed venues. This breakdown allows visitors to plan their routes and enjoy the diversity of artistic proposals.
The festival will start daily at 12:00 and extend until 2:00 AM. Between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, the music volume will be reduced by half to ensure residents' rest.
The contest schedules are set to optimize the experience for attendees and the well-being of residents. On April 29, being a working day, the schedule will be adjusted from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with a reduction in music volume from 11:00 PM.
Regarding prizes, the contest includes two main categories. On one hand, participation and social action awards will be granted, with 700 euros for each of the up to 45 crosses selected by the jury. On the other hand, the best crosses for their aesthetics will be recognized, with a first prize of 2,000 euros, a second of 1,260 euros, and a third of 980 euros. These prizes are cumulative, and the jury may also award three additional prizes of 300 and 200 euros in each category.
