The exhibition, titled En forma peregrina. El Polifemo y las Soledades de Góngora (1612-1927), will be hosted at the institution's headquarters in Madrid. The event is scheduled to run from February 18 to May 30, 2027, aiming to revitalize the poetic and symbolic universe of the Cordovan author.
The project involves a municipal investment of 145,200 euros. The largest portion of this budget, 61,710 euros, is allocated to the logistics and transport of the artworks. The remaining funds will cover exhibition design, assembly, dismantling, and the production of the official catalog.
The exhibition will feature original editions, publications, and various artworks from European collections. The initiative aims to highlight the influence of the Golden Age writer, emphasizing his role as a bridge between classical tradition and modernity, with a special focus on his impact on the Generation of '27.
