The exhibition, titled En forma peregrina. El Polifemo y las Soledades de Góngora, will be hosted in the Sala Hipóstila of the Madrid institution. The public will be able to visit this bibliographic and artistic tour between February 18 and May 30, 2027.
The project will be curated by professor Rafael Bonilla Cerezo. The exhibition will include first editions of the poet's works, archaeological pieces, and various artworks loaned from European collections, aiming to analyze the poet's influence from the Spanish Golden Age to the Generation of '27.
This initiative is part of a broader municipal program to establish Córdoba as a cultural benchmark. Furthermore, the activities will be integrated into the program of the Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue 2027.
In parallel, the local government has approved the tender for an immersive audiovisual production about Roman Córdoba. This production, which will be exhibited at the Vimcorsa hall between late 2026 and early 2027, will serve as a complement to a new museographic project about the historic city.
