This initiative responds to the requests of the Los Califas neighborhood association, which has called for the creation of continuous tree pits and new plantings.

Ruiz Madruga emphasized that the action will be framed within the guidelines of the Tree Master Plan. This plan recommends the use of continuous tree pits and the selection of tree species best adapted to the local climate to maximize shade provision in the city. As an example of this policy, the delegate mentioned the recent renovation of Virgen Milagrosa Avenue, where continuous tree pits have already been implemented for the trees.
