The local artistic community has expressed concern over this decision, urging the City Council to reconsider the agreement and foster greater dialogue with local creators. More than 200 professionals in the sector have signed a formal petition to review the terms of the transfer.

From an administrative standpoint, the agreement approved by the Local Government Board on May 4th includes the renovation of several rooms in the east wing of the Royal Stables. The project involves adapting the ground and first levels to house exhibition halls and a visitor reception area, with the understanding that the managing entity must pay a fee for the use of the facilities.
