Córdoba CF finds itself at a crucial juncture following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. The offices at El Arcángel stadium are already immersed in planning for the next campaign, anticipating a summer of intense activity in the front office to address a necessary squad renovation.
The club's sporting committee is facing the reality of a large number of player departures. This weekend will mark the farewell, at a minimum, for the loaned-out players: Dani Requena, Trilli, Alberto del Moral, and Mikel Goti. Joining them are those whose contracts expire on June 30th, such as Jacobo, Alcedo, Guardiola, Théo Zidane, Pedro Ortiz, and Nikolay Obolskii, none of whom have had their renewals confirmed yet.
This considerable list of departures will free up significant salary mass, but at the same time, it will compel the club to urgently enter the transfer market to rebuild the team's core once again.
