The sun will be the main protagonist in Córdoba as June progresses. Temperatures will progressively increase over the next few days, culminating in a weekend where 40 degrees will once again be approached in much of the province.
According to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this Monday, maximum temperatures are expected to reach 37 degrees under completely clear skies. The heat will continue to intensify on Tuesday and Wednesday, days for which maximums of 38 degrees are anticipated.
For now, Aemet has not activated any high-temperature warnings in any of Córdoba's regions, although the trend indicates a progressive increase in thermal readings.
The situation will remain stable for the rest of the week until the weekend, when maximum temperatures could reach 39 degrees, just shy of the 40-degree barrier. This scenario anticipates the intense heat that will likely accompany the province in the coming months.
