The session, taking place at 7:00 PM in the Biblioteca Grupo Cántico, aims to provide the public with rigorous and up-to-date information on the fight against this disease. The event will bring together prominent professionals from the fields of research and healthcare.
The meeting will be moderated by Juan de la Haba, head of section at the Medical Oncology Unit of the Reina Sofía University Hospital, titular professor at the University of Córdoba, and research area coordinator at the Maimónides Institute for Biomedical Research of Córdoba (Imibic).
Also participating will be Silvia Guilt, a researcher from the New Cancer Therapies group at Imibic, and Javier Cantero, coordinator of the Hera Project, an initiative focused on innovative cancer research and treatment.
During the event, the latest scientific advancements, the development of new research lines, and the impact of emerging therapies on the treatment of cancer patients will be discussed. The role of collaborative research projects in accelerating the arrival of new treatments and improving patients' quality of life will also be analyzed.
