The real estate market in Córdoba, for both sales and rentals, remains tight with a reduced supply and rising prices, while demand continues to grow. This scenario has fueled the 'express rental' phenomenon, where a significant percentage of properties find tenants quickly.
According to a study published by idealista, in the second quarter of 2026, 13% of apartments and houses rented in Córdoba (both in the capital and the province) were leased in under 24 hours. This figure is below the Spanish national average, which stood at 17%.
At the Andalusian level, Cádiz leads in rapid rentals with 19%, followed by Huelva (18%) and Jaén (16%). Seville and Córdoba share fourth place with 13%. The Andalusian average is 14%.
In Andalusian capitals, the average for rentals under 24 hours drops to 10.75%. In this ranking, Jaén stands out with 20%, while Cádiz (16%) and Seville and Córdoba (13%) also show high percentages.
Nationally, Ceuta tops the list of capitals with 67% of rentals in less than a day, followed by Teruel (50%) and Huesca (44%). Other capitals like Barcelona (36%) and Melilla (31%) also show high figures. In contrast, Cáceres (4%), Orense, and Almería (6%) have the lowest incidence.
Regarding provinces, Teruel (39%) and Barcelona (35%) lead express rentals in Spain. Cáceres (3%), Orense (6%), and Soria (8%) are the provinces with the lowest percentages.
