The Provincial Council of Córdoba and Aguas de Córdoba (EMPROACSA) have held the awards ceremony for the 4th edition of the Drawing Contest for World Water Day. This initiative aims to promote participation, awareness, and environmental education among the citizens of the Province of Córdoba.
Under the slogan ‘Water Equates Us’, the contest invited participants of all ages to reflect on water's role as an element of unity, development, and equal opportunities. The president of the Provincial Council, Salvador Fuentes, emphasized that access to water is fundamental for health, education, and well-being, and that its equity reduces inequalities.
This contest, which gathered nearly 200 drawings and has consolidated its growth, has become a tool for environmental education. Salvador Fuentes noted that the winning drawings will be used in future awareness campaigns. He also recalled the importance of hydraulic infrastructure and citizen awareness regarding droughts.
