During the events on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4, the importance of understanding and protecting ocean life will be addressed. These activities will feature Natalia Rodríguez, a 16-year-old who was named an ambassador for the European Climate Pact last January.
The communicator, originally from Cádiz, will present her project 132 decibels. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the impact of underwater noise pollution, particularly on the cetaceans of the Strait of Gibraltar. The session will explain how noise from intense maritime traffic interferes with the communication, orientation, and feeding of these animals.
