The Paseo Marqués del Contadero served as the setting for the presentation of the tournament's poster, organized by the Veterans Association of the Club Amigos del Rugby (CAR VETS). The delegate for Sports, María Tena, congratulated the organizers for promoting an event that honors Pepe Gastalver, known as “el Gambita”, and demonstrates the solidarity of Sevillian sport with social causes.
Tena encouraged Sevillians and sports enthusiasts to join this initiative, which this year will benefit the Corazón y Vida Association, participating in a day that combines values, coexistence, and solidarity.
All funds raised will be fully allocated to the Corazón y Vida Association, a non-profit entity that supports individuals affected by congenital heart defects.
The tournament serves as a tribute to Pepe Gastalver, a former CAR player diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ELA). Last year's edition gathered nearly 200 players and 1,000 attendees.
