The investigation began after receiving various reports indicating the possible existence of cannabis cultivation in several homes within a neighborhood of the Sevillian town. It was suspected that some properties were occupied by individuals with no known legal employment, who allegedly derived income from illicit activities, while other properties were entirely dedicated to these plantations.

Officers successfully identified several indoor marijuana cultivation sites believed to be intended for distribution. As a result of the police operation, seven home searches were carried out.

During the searches, four people were arrested, and approximately one thousand marijuana plants, weighing around 300 kilograms, were seized. Additionally, the electrical system used to power the plantations, which was fraudulently connected to the general supply, was disabled, mitigating a serious fire hazard.
