Civil Guard agents found the victim inside a residence. At the same location, they located a man with various stab wounds, which initial police inquiries suggest he inflicted upon himself. This man was urgently transported to a healthcare center in Seville, where he is currently admitted.
The Deputy Government Delegate in Seville, Francisco Toscano, officially confirmed the events. He detailed that the police officers present at the home verified the woman's death, noting her injuries were consistent with a bladed weapon assault. Healthcare services dispatched to the scene formally certified the death.
According to Toscano, the deceased was born in 1981, and the alleged male aggressor in 1982. Subsequent checks of police records confirmed that the couple was not registered in the VioGen system for comprehensive monitoring and that no prior domestic abuse complaints were on file.
“"It is the only procedure that allows institutional protocols and protection systems to be activated."
Following the incident, Toscano issued a public appeal to women experiencing abuse and their direct circle, emphasizing the importance of reporting any signs to security forces to activate institutional protocols and protection systems.
