Luck arrived in the Sevillian town thanks to vendor Francisco Meléndez, who was responsible for distributing the winning series with the main prize of six million euros. In addition, Meléndez sold another nine tickets, each awarded 40,000 euros, making it a very fortunate day for the area.
Since joining ONCE in 2013, Francisco Meléndez has worked in the Vistazul neighborhood. According to his initial estimates, most of the 40,000 euro winning tickets were purchased by employees of an iron materials company located in the La Isla industrial park. Furthermore, a resident of the Las Portadas neighborhood, a regular player of the number 8, has been identified as another lucky winner. However, the identity of the winner of the six million euros remains unknown.
“"I also had another 8, but it wasn't that one, but I'm happier than if I had won it myself."
The Cuponazo's fortune was not limited to Dos Hermanas. In La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz, 400,000 euros were distributed, corresponding to ten tickets each winning 40,000 euros. Meanwhile, Málaga also saw prizes, with 360,000 euros distributed across nine five-digit tickets, sold near the Emergency Department of the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Victoria, a high-traffic location.
In total, the three Andalusian provinces mentioned have accumulated over 7.1 million euros in major prizes during this draw, reaffirming Andalusia's prominence in this April 10 edition of the ONCE Cuponazo.
