The Brotherhood of Gines embarked on its traditional journey to El Rocío on Wednesday morning. This event, marking the 98th pilgrimage for the Sevillian town, has been declared a Festival of Tourist Interest of Andalusia.
The departure of the brotherhood from Gines, located in the Aljarafe region, is approaching its centenary, a milestone that will be reached in the next two years. The celebration draws numerous devotees and visitors each year.
