This incorporation adds a significant extension to the municipality's territory, covering from kilometer point 1+381 to 2+585 of the A-1000, which connects the A-7 with Huércal de Almería. Additionally, it includes the service lanes located on both sides, from kilometer point 1+355, at the height of the Andarax River, to 1+936, corresponding to the railway overpass.

The transfer, carried out under an order issued on March 2, 2026, by the Ministry of Public Works, Territorial Planning and Housing, includes all functional elements associated with the section. This encompasses the main roadway, service lanes, transverse drainage works, existing structures, signage, containment systems, and ornamental elements.

The transfer deed specifies that the main section has an approximate length of 1.2 kilometers, with an additional kilometer of service lanes. It has been confirmed that all infrastructures are in good condition and maintenance. Furthermore, the transfer includes the land and widened areas affected by public road domain, resulting from expropriations carried out for the original construction of the road.

The effectiveness of this transfer is subject to the approval of the deed by the General Directorate of Road Infrastructures. Once approved, the Huércal de Almería City Council must proceed with the corresponding cadastral regularization to update the ownership of the transferred assets.
