The town of Huércal de Almería is in the final stages of preparing for its traditional Patron Saint Festivities in honor of San José. To ensure the enjoyment and safety of all attendees, Mayor Ismael Torres chaired an important coordination meeting.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Local Police, Civil Protection, Guardia Civil, municipal technicians, and the concert organizing company. Council members from the Festivities, Civil Protection, Mobility, Services, and Internal Affairs departments were also present, ensuring comprehensive planning.
During the session, crucial aspects such as security coordination and access were addressed, with particular attention to Plaza de Las Mascaranas, the hub for evening concerts and the starting point for the float parade. Other topics included reinforcing cleaning services, enabling parking areas, lighting, the location of ambulances and medical services, as well as the Punto Violeta (Violet Point), and the music cut-off times in the restaurant area of Calle Real and Plaza de la Constitución.
Although the full program will be announced in the coming days, some prominent activities have already been revealed. These include the Huércal Live concert festival, featuring performances by Rosario, Maki & María Artes, Medina Azahara, Alvama Ice, Tamara Fajardo, and DJ Zarpi. The traditional float parade, children's and adult ribbon races, and Sports Glories meetings in football, mixed basketball, and women's futsal will also take place.
