The Provincial Council of Almería continues to promote improvements in the province's municipalities through its Provincial Plans. The Deputy of Development, Antonio J. Rodríguez, accompanied by the mayor of Santa Fe de Mondújar, Trinidad Góngora, visited the ongoing works in the area of Camino de La Torre.
The project, with an investment of 225,000 euros, focuses on conditioning a municipal plot in the southwest area of the urban center. The objective is to provide it with a new road and pedestrian access, preparing the space for future recreational and tourist uses, such as a rural adventure park.
The project includes the construction of a two-way vehicle access, five meters wide, paved with asphalt conglomerate, as well as a 2.70-meter wide ramped pedestrian path with stamped concrete finish. A circular area will be created at the end to facilitate vehicle turning.

The Deputy of Development highlighted that the investment responds to the need to improve infrastructure and generate opportunities, especially in smaller municipalities, contributing to the quality of life and development of the towns.
The action will also improve safety in the Camino de La Torre area. Deteriorated masonry and concrete walls will be demolished and replaced with new reinforced concrete perimeter walls. This intervention will improve visibility on a challenging curve of the route.
The project, with an execution period of five months (150 calendar days), includes safety elements such as railings and handrails, as well as earthmoving, paving, and waste management.
