The Civil Guard in Huéscar has successfully apprehended two individuals, aged 30 and 40, suspected of committing a burglary in a local residence. The incident occurred when officers caught the suspects placing various items, recently stolen from a house they had entered through a window, into their vehicle.
According to official reports, the event took place last Saturday. The Central Operativa de Servicios (COS) alerted the Civil Guard about a potential break-in at a home in the municipality, indicating that several people had gained entry via a window. Upon receiving the alert, officers promptly responded to the scene.
In a street adjacent to the affected property, law enforcement personnel located two men whose descriptions matched those provided by the COS. Noticing the police presence, the suspects attempted to flee in their car but were ultimately intercepted by the officers.
During the intervention, the civil guards observed clear signs of nervousness in both individuals. After being questioned about the origin of the items they were transporting, the detainees admitted to having obtained them unlawfully. Based on this confession and the evidence found, the Civil Guard proceeded with their arrest for burglary.
Authorities have confirmed that all recovered items will be returned to their rightful owner, concluding the operation that thwarted the theft and led to the apprehension of those responsible.
