Emergency services responded swiftly to extinguish the flames that originated in a room of the center, located on Rosa Martínez Vera street. The incident, which occurred shortly before 11:00 PM, mobilized the Consortium Firefighters, 061 Health Emergency Center, Civil Guard, and Local Police.
The fire, located in a first-floor lounge, was put out by firefighters from Guadix, supported by the Iznalloz station. The second floor of the building was affected by smoke, requiring ventilation efforts to ensure the building's habitability.
