The Plaza del Ángel will be the epicenter of the celebrations, which will include daily concerts, performances, and activities for all ages. Music will be the undisputed protagonist of these days of neighborhood gathering.
The program kicks off on Wednesday, August 19, with the opening of the bar and musical entertainment by a DJ. On Thursday, August 20, after the bar opens, the finals of board and card games will be held, followed by the opening speech by Antonia Prieto, accompanied by Pedro Fernández, delegate of the Spanish Government in Andalusia.
Friday, August 21, will feature the bar opening, a floral offering to the patron saint, and a copla concert by Elena Romera, a finalist from the program «Se llama copla». The night will continue with a dance featuring the Trío Musical and DJ FRANZ, culminating with a concert by ARIEL DE CUBA.
Saturday, August 22, the day of the Santo Ángel Custodio, will begin with the floral offering and a tasting of migas. In the afternoon, a Holy Mass will be celebrated, followed by the traditional procession through the neighborhood streets, accompanied by the Banda Municipal de Música de Baza and a rociero choir. After the procession, there will be a tasting of typical tapas and the XVII AVANGEL Children's Song Contest with Fran Navarro as a guest artist, followed by performances by ALBA FERNÁNDEZ and JOSÉ REY.
The festivities will conclude on Sunday, August 23, with a popular paella tasting and a Foam and Water Party in the Plaza del Ángel, enlivened by a DJ.
