The mayor of Baza, Pedro J. Ramos, and the Sister Superior of the Brotherhood of Ntra. Sra. de la Piedad de Baza, María Piedad Checa, along with the Councilor for Culture, José Gabriel López, signed the agreement this Wednesday, August 26. The agreement regulates the municipal subsidy for the year 2026.
The financial aid amounts to 1,050 euros and aims to contribute to the expenses related to the events for the patronal services in honor of the Stma. Virgen de la Piedad, whose feast day is celebrated on September 8.

During the meeting, María Piedad Checa presented the mayor with a brochure detailing the complete schedule for the patronal services, which will take place from August 30 to September 7, with an additional day on September 15.
